Culture Study
I have been doing research on cultures and ran across this video that has some great information about the span of the Hispanic culture.

It is hard to believe that my role as a parent has changed in my daughters life. She will be eighteen soon and will be in the category of young adult...although in my eyes she is still my little girl. We made the transition from parenting i.e. training, instructing to coaching i.e. supporting many years ago which has been a learning process for us. For so long we have been in the directive role with our parenting. The toughest part about coaching is giving up control and allowing your growing child to make decisions based upon their training they received in their early years. Well I have to say, I am very proud of the beautiful young lady my daughter has become. She has the world in front of her and her coach behind her...go get'em kid!

Where are all the tamales?? Growing up in a Hispanic family, my mom would always make home made tamales for Christmas. Man I remember all of the smells that would come from that old kitchen...boy what I would give to be back there again. It would take us two days of just preparing and than an entire day to make and cook those delicious bad boys. Well I guess the only thing I can do is go to my favorite Mexican food restaurant...watch out Mucho Gracias, here I come!!

What About Me...
How often do you get what I like to call "me time"? A time just for you to be you without any responsibilities other than just being you. To keep your sanity "me time" is a must in our super fast paced culture. Try it...schedule some "me time" and see how it will change your perspective on live.
